The Hour Glass is a locally owned and operated family stained glass studio in the Southern Maryland area of Washington DC. We are conveniently located one block off Route 6 /Charles St. in downtown LaPlata which is just 10 miles south of Waldorf,Maryland in Charles County.

Here at the The Hour Glass it is about having FUN. When you take one of our beginning classes which is the key to having fun.We also offer finished stained glass art,as well as, custom work. When you come into The Hour Glass we want you to feel like one of the family. We try our best to so and for the people who have already taken the BEGINNER class and want to make other works of art, we carry a full range of supplies. If you would like to make a second piece but don't feel comfortable on your own we offer studio time which is explained in the classes section.
